What a total blast at this weekend’s Good Food Festival. In one afternoon I learned how to ferment kombucha, explored the future of farmer’s markets, tried The Amazing Kale Burger, met amazing people who bring quality food into schools and who make Fair Trade more accessible in Chicago – and pledged to plant. That’s right – Kevin and I are committed to growing kale in the living room.
Through Seeds of Change, who are all about organic, non GMO seeds and promoting sustainable agriculture, we committed to our own planting project. And since we don’t have much outdoor space at the condo, we’re bringing it in.
